Wow, there's so much stuff I could write here to make you super inspired and ready to tackle new and exciting sustainable resolutions.. But there are many, many other people who can do it better than me, so I'll let them speak for themselves! To start off, are you doing anything today? No? Great, check out Earth Day Live a global online Earth Day event which is going on right now, for 72 hours straight, featuring celebrities, activists, artists, musicians, and more! More of a locale-oriented person? No problem (if you're in the Phoenix area). Keep Phoenix Beautiful has all kinds of virtual events and challenges going on. Still stuck at home huh? Well good news for you, Apartment Therapy has 91 New Tips to make your apartment (or whatever) more sustainable! Some good news on climate change, in addition to the reprieve Coronavirus is giving the environment (temporarily), less energy demand is allowing countries to quit coal altogether, with Sweden and Austria closing their last coal plants this week. Six to ten more countries in Europe at least intend to stop all coal generation in the next few years. For our hardcore conservationists (looking at you, @Tahiry Langrand) there's tons of ways to make a difference this Earth Day even from home. The Nature Conservancy will plant trees for you, has tons of interesting stories, and you can even support petitions and pledges to keep conservation at the forefront of decision-making. Conservation International has a special Earth Day offer to triple any donation you give today only. They also have a massive number of sustainability topics you can learn more about, or take action today. Can you celebrate Earth Day from inside? Well, if astronauts (who aren't even on Earth can, then I think you can too. Check out NASA's Chris Cassidy reflect on Earth Day from space. Need an animal livestream in your life right now so that you can feel closer to nature? Here's a list, go nuts! What's happened since last Earth Day? Well Vox can tell you all about that today with 7 things we've learned about Earth since last Earth Day. I hope you found this post helpful for your #EarthDayAtHome and remember to share so that others can benefit from all this knowledge too! Happy Earth Day 2020!

Although the novel Coronavirus COVID-19 (which I'm sure your sick of hearing about by now) is a terrible disaster happening to our society, it is already teaching us lessons. If we heed these lessons, we can plan for a brighter, healthier, more sustainable future.
In terms of economics, sustainable stocks and funds have been a gamble for traditional investors for a long time. Now, with COVID-19 stirring things up, markets are extremely volatile and many gains have been lost altogether, yet there's one area doing significantly better than the rest of the market. ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance funds, which encapsulate much of the sustainable market.
A recent Bloomberg analysis showed that ESG assets are doing twice as well as more traditional stocks, including tech companies and especially fossil fuel-heavy funds. A separate study by Morningstar also showed sustainable stocks outperforming competitors by far, even in light of the coronavirus upheaval.
These insights, coupled with advice from longtime economic advisors and fund managers, are beginning to show investors that sustainability is truly the only reliable way forward economically.
Unfortunately in the path to get there, there are some bumps in the road. In the United States and other European and Asian countries, portfolio managers can apply the ESG labels indiscriminately, making truly sustainable investing confusing to new investors, and even seasoned ones. Many accuse these managers of greenwashing to make funds look more sustainable than they are, posing a threat to true sustainable investing, as people can't be sure if they can trust their fund to be truly sustainable.
If you want to start impact investing in truly sustainable ways right from an app on your phone, trust Newday to have your back. It's the casual investing app I use for social good, certified B corporation, and backed by tons of reputable companies. Interested in even more complicated sustainable investing? Robinhood is another less-casual investing app I also use, but it requires more research and upfront knowledge.
Let me know of any related stories or other good places you can sustainably invest in the comments!

Hello everyone, as you may have noticed, Constellation's website seems to have some new features and some intermittent design changes. Our development team works very hard to bring you the best platform to engage in sustainability, but we're far from perfect. In fact, were pretty new! One of the biggest things we have in the works is a new User Dashboard page. So in case you haven't already, help us make Constellation even more suited to your needs by filling out a quick online survey here: https://forms.gle/R9R61B8ozsqxvdt26.

The World Wildlife Fund and Knorr have just finished a report about the 50 foods that will take us into the future of sustainable diets. I must admit that I haven't tried most of the items on the list, but a lot of them were pretty surprising. Want to check out the full report? Find it here: https://www.wwf.org.uk/updates/wwf-and-knorr-launch-future-50-foods
