I think nuclear needs to be part of the green, clean energy discussion! Often times renewables like wind and solar are postured as a poster child for the green economy and a rapid decarbonization to zero, but the downsides are overlooked (waste of the material life cycle, land use, mining of toxic and rare minerals). Nuclear cannot be left out of the discussion, especially in the context of the Green New Deal and a revitalization of the jobs market.
